Mega Event Overview & Theme: Mega is the event for the global Airline & Travel industry dedicated to maximizing revenues from Loyalty Programs, Ancillary Revenue Generation and travel Co-Branded Credit Card Programs, as well as to meet decision-makers from the industry manging these areas. Ai Events focus very much on content. We have industry practitioners as speakers sharing their insights into the key issues of the day. We don’t sell speaking slots, which means our presentations are not sales pitches thus attracting delegates who want to keep up-to-date with innovations and best practices. Madeleine Anderson worked for British Airways for 10 years, including managing the British Airways Executive Club (UK). This was followed by three years working for Ernst & Young Management Consultancy, specialising in Loyalty across a number of sectors in Europe. Since 2002 Madeleine has worked as an independent consultant, holding a series of roles in Europe and the Far East. This has included launching a loyalty programme for Jet2.com and supporting the strategic development and launch of a co-brand credit card for Emirates Airline. She graduated from Loughborough University of Technology with a BSC (Hons) Management Sciences and Diploma of Industrial Studies. She has also received a Post Graduate Diploma of Business Administration from Lancaster University and a Diploma of Direct Marketing from the Direct Marketing Centre/Kingston University.

Mega Event Overview & Theme: Mega Event 2018 was held in Long Beach, California, home to the luxury liner The Queen Mary. She was the fastest ship in her day at the leading edge of technology. Similarly, the theme for Mega Event 2018 was shaped around being at the leading edge of technology in our rapidly developing digital age. So, Mega Event 2018 looked at how to make the best of Digital in the areas of Loyalty, Ancillary Revenues/Merchandising and Co-brand Cards. It also allowed attendees to connect with not only great content, but great business contacts, enabling participants to learn best practices and hear how others are getting ahead in the digital age.
