Overview: This Virtual Lions' Den was the place to hear some of the latest innovations that facilitate travel in the "New Normal." Watch the recording to hear disuptive solutions that enable customers to travel confidently, safely and more profitably in the Covid World.

This fast-paced session, which took place on Wednesday, September 23rd, showcased 3 solutions that facilitate travel in the "New Normal." Each was pitched for 5 minutes to our esteemed panel of "Lions" (Judges) - all with vast Airline & Travel Industry Experience. Pitchers then faced 5 minutes of questioning by the Lions. At the end of the pitches, the Lions chose the Best Product of the day. Participants were also be able to select their favorite pitch via an on-line vote.

Our Ringmaster
Michael Smith is a senior advisor at Ai Events and helps to guide its market leading events. Prior to Ai Events, Michael was a board Director of British Airways Global Financial Services Limited and managed BA's relationships with all of its non-Air Partners. In this position, he was one of the pioneers of ancillary revenue generation at BA.

The Lions

Madeleine Anderson has been Executive Chair of Ai Events' conferences since 2019. Previously, she ran British Airways' Executive Club and has done work for many other airlines from Jet2.com to Emirates, as well as for hotel brands and retailers.

Sinead Finn is Director of affinnity, an ancillary revenue focused consulting firm. Having helped develop and led Ryanair's Ancillary Revenue program as that airline's Director of Commercial Revenue and Head of Sales and Marketing Europe, Sinead is considered one of the founders of the Ancillary Revenue movement.

Steve Arsenault has over thirty-five years of travel and hospitality industry experience. This includes being an industry employee at United Airlines and Galileo Distribution Systems and an industry consultant at SH&E, the Canaan Group, Loyalty Consulting Solutions, Kobie Marketing and the Mallet Group. At Kobie, Steve started and ran the Travel & Hospitality vertical. He's currently serving as strategic account executive at Cheetah Digital.
