Perseuss is the global travel industry's own response to the problem of fraud. The origins of Perseuss are from a small group of seven European airlines in 2007 needing to share experiences and data about fraudsters' operations and to work together to identify and action new fraud patterns appearing throughout the travel industry. Perseuss has since grown to be a global community of more than 100 airlines, travel agents and rail carriers, all committed to share fraudulent data and experiences.

This closed-door meeting was open not exclusively for Perseuss Users, but also for Fraud Prevention and Payment Experts of all airlines, travel agencies, online travel agencies, railway companies and other businesses worldwide who were interested to learn more about sharing fraud data and travel fraud prevention in general.
